At approximately 3.05pm today (+GMT800), our DC5 network went down 90%. Most of the IPs are not accessible but the core routers are working. After spending 30 minutes to check the network, our network team concluded that our core switch suffered an intermittent failure. They replaced the core switch with a temporarily switch and the network is back up again at 3.45pm. We apologized for this downtime and would also like to inform all customers that at 6.30pm tonight, we will replace the temporarily switch with a new gigabits switch. There will be another downtime of 10 minutes for this hardware replacement. Please do take note of this. Thank you.
